Special provisions for your
protection
Confidential and Privileged. Your
conversations with any Plan Lawyer are strictly confidential and fully protected by the
lawyer-client privilege. No information that you discuss with a lawyer is ever shared by a
lawyer with any third party without your written consent.
No Conflicts. You, your Spouse and your Children
may use the Plan. It cannot be used by a family Member against you.
Regulatory Compliance. Legal services are
provided by Private Lawyers admitted to the Bar and subject to the authority of the law
society of each Province. The Plan lawyers do not claim to be certified specialists in any
of the areas of law previously referred to.
Independence. No one can or will interfere with
a lawyer’s independent exercise of professional judgement.
No Self-Referral. For your protection, the
Private Lawyers who advise you by telephone have agreed never to refer a legal matter case
to themselves or their firms. Their advice to you is their best professional opinion,
